A wild weekend for the Prince William County Police Department led to two suspects who remain at large on Monday, Jan. 23, and are facing strangulation, assault, and other charges.

On Saturday, Jan. 21, officers responded to the 4200 block of Kenton Circle in Dumfries to investigate a burglary that had reportedly just taken place.

According to police, the investigation determined that Woodbridge resident Ahmad El-Rashad, 32, entered a home through a basement window and confronted a 30-year-old acquaintance that spilled outside the residence.

The verbal altercation escalated, and when the victim attempted to separate herself from Rashad, he grabbed her by the shirt collar and bit her arm, according to police. A neighbor later intervened and Rashad was able to flee on foot and remains at large.

Hours later, shortly before 2:45 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, officers were back at it when they were called to the 3300 block of Chelsea Drive in Woodbridge to investigate a reported domestic disturbance involving Lorton resident Sirri Mohammed Webb, 38, and a 38-year-old woman.

During that instance, a verbal dispute rapidly simmered over, resulting in Webb allegedly striking the woman and grabbing her by the neck. During the physical altercation, a 10-year-old girl attempted to intervene and Webb allegedly pushed her against a wall before fleeing the area.

While the incident was under investigation by police, Webb reportedly made several threatening phone calls to his victim, where he also threatened law enforcement officials.

The woman reported non-life-threatening injuries, while the child suffered “minor injuries,” according to police.

Rashad is facing charges for:

  • Strangulation;
  • Burglary;
  • Assault and battery.

Webb is charged with:

  • Strangulation;
  • Two counts of domestic assault and battery;
  • Threats by phone;
  • Threats toward law enforcement.

Both men remain at large.
